Job Description

We are partnering with a nationally recognized defense firm seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support complex litigation matters, including property-related disputes and other specialty defense work in its Orange County office. This role offers a stable, long-term opportunity to contribute directly to case strategy by managing discovery, organizing case materials, preparing exhibits, and supporting trial teams from initial intake through appeal. Ideal candidates bring strong command of litigation workflows, maintain exceptional attention to detail, and operate confidently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

What You'll Do

  • Manage case documents and organize records throughout all stages of litigation, including intake, discovery, motion practice, trial prep, and post-trial work.
  • Support discovery by tracking requests, organizing productions, conducting property-related research, and reviewing documents using platforms such as Relativity.
  • Prepare exhibits, witness materials, deposition summaries, and trial binders to support hearings, mediations, and trial teams.
  • Assist with filings in state and federal courts, ensuring accuracy across pleadings, exhibits, and supporting materials.
  • Coordinate with attorneys, clients, experts, and vendors to maintain accurate case status updates and ensure disciplined deadline management.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree required; Paralegal Certificate preferred.
  • 3-5 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably within a defense practice
  • Experience preparing and filing pleadings in state and federal courts
  • Discovery experience, including document review and use of Relativity or similar platforms
  • Experience preparing exhibits and providing trial support
  • Strong organizational skills and disciplined management of structured electronic files
  • Ability to work overtime and travel for trial when required
